David Carradine
I heard about David Carradines death this morning. I remember watching the TV show "Kung Fu" back in the 70's. My friends and I would act out Kung Fu and Karate moves on our playground. One of my life long friends and band mates Joey Grijalva also loved Kung Fu. Decades after the TV show aried we would talk about the different charactors and story lines of the show at our bands rehearsals. As a Japanese American it was also a bit of a culture shock to see Asian people on the television. I liked David Carridine in the Kill Bill movies. But to me he will always be the charactor "Kwai Chang Caine". I read that he took his own life. If this turns out to be true I hope it will inspire others who have depression to seek out help for this disease.
