All About Ken Hada

All about Ken Hada, I created this blog to help me keep track of my methods for audio engineering, drums, photography, web design, and cooking you get the idea I have too many interests.

When I was a kid I built a haunted house in the garage. I asked some friends to help me create a maze with old curtains. And we put styrofoam heads on fishing wire and pulleys. Played the music from the Haunted Mansion (Disneyland). Eventually, kids came to experience the haunted garage. Ultimately they began to give us money for admission (all on their own). And I realized I like making things.

If you would have told me my lifelong friend would one day write a memoir

Engaging with the memoir “If You Would Have Told Me” by my lifelong friend John Stamos is a profoundly emotional and reflective experience. The title alone sparks curiosity, inviting me into a narrative that unfolds like a tapestry of shared secrets, dreams, and the unpredictable twists of our intertwined lives.

As I turn the pages, there’s a sense of anticipation, akin to opening a time capsule filled with our shared history. John’s words resonate with a sincerity that only a lifelong friend can convey, offering a nuanced glimpse into the depths of his experiences and the complexities of our enduring friendship. The memoir serves as a mirror reflecting not only his journey but also the echoes of my own life intertwined with his. It’s a poignant reminder of the power of friendship to shape and define the contours of our existence, leaving an indelible mark on the very fabric of who we are.

Finally, it is weird to read something about your friend’s life. And it is comforting to read his account of days past. I’m near the end of this book. And like life as John Stamos’s friend, I don’t want it to end.

John Stamos asked me if I had a dark brooding picture of myself. I asked my daughter Kate Hada if she could make this picture. She made the above picture and I sent it to John and he said “perfect”.
