A Song About Marching Band and John Stamos. In 1980 I went to Ireland with my High School Marching Band. And this was one of those moments in your life that you never forget. Much later in life, I wrote a song about this experience titled Band Bus Ride. In addition to being in the band, I was the school’s newspaper photographer.
